The MAG2000 Shockwatch Label is a shock detector that activates when an impact exceeds the device’s threshold.

The MAG2000 is designed to monitor packages over 227kg in containers and on vehicles.

The main difference between a MAG2000 and a Shockwatch label is that the MAG2000 can be reset using a specially designed key that can be reused.

How MAG2000 Works

The MAG 2000 shock detection label uses two magnets, a bottom magnet held in place and a top magnet held in place by mutual magnetic attraction.

When accelerated by impact or vibration strong enough to create a force greater than the magnetic force, the top magnet is pushed out of its “home” position and appears in a visible position inside the device.
The MAG 2000 also indicates the tilt angle due to the position of the indicator magnet. The g-trigger level is preset and available in a variety of settings from 2G to 20G.

The MAG 2000 is resettable and tamper-proof with a uniquely designed key provided to open the top cover of the machine. This key allows the product to be reset after activation and is tamper-proof.
