What is AnsiP 1-MCP?
AnsiP 1-MCP is a post-harvest preservation product line, with the main ingredient being the active ingredient 1-methylcyclopropene (1-MCP) .
The active ingredient will control ethylene gas and inhibit natural ripening, helping to prolong the freshness of vegetables, tubers and fruits, preventing:
- The fruit is ripe and yellow.
- Plant tissue turns yellow and soft.
- Flowers age and fall.
AnsiP 1-MCP has two ripening effects: maintaining flower freshness and preventing fruit ripening .
In each case, AnsiP 1-MCP is combined with other solutions for treatment or mixed with a specific amount of water for air inhalation to increase the contact efficiency with vegetables, fruits & flowers.
AnsiP 1-MCP is commonly used in enclosed indoor areas, such as cold storage, truck bodies, greenhouses, storage and shipping containers, etc. AnsiP 1-MCP is used in the agricultural industry by shippers to maintain quality and delay the natural ripening process of agricultural products after harvest.

How Many Types of AnsiP 1-MCP Products Are There?

1. AnsiP 1-MCP Tablets
The 1-MCP matrix (precursor) contained in the tablet is of controlled release at a moderate level ensuring uniform distribution. Suitable for cold storage rooms without large air vents.

How to Use AnsiP 1-MCP Tablets
- Calculate the required dosage.
- Put AnsiP-1-Methylcyclopropene Tablets into a bottle or cup.
- Pour enough water to cover the effervescent tablet.
- Close the ventilation door of the storage room for at least 12 hours or overnight.
- It is recommended to ensure air circulation inside the storage room.
2. AnsiP 1-MCP Sheet
The product is easy to use, in the form of non-woven fabric that can be cut into small pieces, with active ingredients evenly and flexibly coated on the fabric surface, suitable for many forms of packaging.

How to Use AnsiP 1-MCP Sheet
- Cut the product into sheets of suitable size (for small boxes or bags).
- Spray water onto fabric surface for fastest results.
- Place the AnsiP-1-MCP sheet on the left surface.

3. AnsiP 1-MCP Label
The product is the same as AnsiP-1-MCP Sheet , but is a sticker. The sticker design is not only convenient during packaging, but can also be customized with your own logo or brand. The product is used in small containers, single packaging.
