A relocation project starts with an inventory
A reliable relocation plan needs a clear asset list before dismantling begins. Machinery, spare parts, materials and records should be grouped by area, priority and protection requirement. Package codes and destinations must be shared by the packing team, transport team and receiving team.
Main coordination steps
- Survey access routes, floor load limits, lifting points and permitted working hours.
- Record the current condition and assign an identification code to each cargo group.
- Select moisture, impact and structural protection according to the assessed risk.
- Sequence dismantling, packing, loading and transport in controlled batches.
- Reconcile the inventory at destination and record exceptions before reinstallation.
Reducing operational disruption
Divide the programme by area or production line, identify the equipment that must restart first and include time for inspection. The Sancopack video gives an overview of the workflow; a detailed execution plan must reflect the facility layout, equipment and operating schedule.
