Product Description (Protect-A-Pak) 

The Impact (Protect-A-Pak) Collision Indicator provided by Sancopack is mainly used in the transportation quality monitoring of large precision equipment such as space shuttles, nuclear equipment, transformers, large switches, radar command systems and electronic equipment.

It can clearly tell you whether your product has been subjected to accidental bumps or rough handling during shipping.

Especially when the shipping black box is damaged, the indicator will be the only evidence for you to find a shipping accident. When the device is out of the box for debugging, the indicator can protect the reputation of your company’s products.

Working Principle

The impact indicator consists of two spring-loaded balls housed in a transparent round box.

When the product leaves the factory, the default impact acceleration ‘g’, when the product in any direction during transportation exceeds this setting value, the spring and ball will shift and fall into the transparent round box.

There are two types: reusable and non-reusable.

Different equipment, different transportation conditions and different transportation requirements, users should choose different rated acceleration ‘g’ values.

Usually obtained by the user after field testing.

This is a preliminary reference value for users to choose.

Technical Specifications (Protect-A-Pak) 

The non-reusable  PROTECT-A-PAK impact indicator has been widely used all over the world. Pull out the limit plate, the indicator will start to work.

When there is a collision greater than the rated value, the spring beads in the indicator will be dispersed and cannot be reset after being dispersed.

The indicator has a sticker that can be attached to any product.

How to Use (Protect-A-Pak)
